Total score (over/under)

A Total score wager (also known as an Over/Under wager is a single wager on the total number of points that will be scored by both teams combined at the end of the contest. You are betting on the total number of points scored by both teams combined.

Parlays

A Parlay wager consists of picking two to eight teams or totals and putting them together into a single play or wager. All teams must win by the listed point spread or total, if even one of the picks loses, the entire wager is a loss.

Buying points

Buying Points is restricted to two sports, football and basketball only. Points can be bought on the side or on the total. You can buy from 1/2 a point to a total of 3 points, in 1/2 point increments. Buying points can only be applied to a pointspread wager or to an over/under. You cannot buy points on a moneyline.

Reverse bets

The Reverse Bets are simply two straight bets joined together into If Bets that work in both directions of the if clause, the risk is the same for all the wagers in the reverse, they are used for all the major sports except circled games, and no buying points is allowed.

If bets

If Bets are used by many players as a method of money management. Like a parlay, an if bet links together 2 or more individual plays. Unlike a parlay, an if bet is not an all-or-nothing wager: the individual plays remain individual wagers and pay at the listed money line if they win.

Odds

Odds are basically a mathematical expectation and approximation of a certain outcome of a sporting event. Las Vegas casinos post odds for all major games and sporting events in America and some international ones as well.

Money lines

The easiest way to understand a money line, is to think of it as an indication of the amount you need to bet to win $100 (or 100 of whatever currency you are betting in) or the amount you will win if you bet $100. Money lines are expressed with a negative number, say -110, or a positive number, say +110.

Point spread

The two most popular ways of expressing odds are point spreads and money lines. Pointspread bets are one of the most common sports bets. Spreads are intended to level the betting playing field between two teams.

Teaser bets

Many players like to reduce the risk in a parlay bet by making a teaser bet. A teaser bet is a parlay, or combination, bet placed on pointspreads and/or totals in American Football and basketball only, with the pointspread and/or total adjusted, or "teased", to give the bettor a greater chance of winning.

Round robin bets

The Round Robin Parlay is a wager in which three to 18 teams or totals are combined into a single play and all possible combinations of two or three team parlays are exhausted. They are used in all sports except in circled games and there is no buying points allowed.
