Play-offs will determine the tournament winner. Dead heat rules will apply for placings. For each-way bets, dead heat rules apply. For example, if each-way terms quoted for a tournament is for the first four places. Three players tying for third place will be deemed to have dead heated for third, fourth and fifth place with 1/3 stake lost and 2/3 stake settled at full place odds for Each-Way bets on those players.

Golf - Betting

Match Betting The winner will be the player with the lowest score over the full length of the tournament (Rule 26.7 Applies). If one player misses the cut (36 holes), the other is deemed the winner. Where both players miss the cut the lowest score after two rounds will determine settlement. A price will be offered for the tie and in the event of a tie, bets on either player to win will be lost. If one player is disqualified or withdraws, prior to the completion of two rounds his, or her, opponent is deemed the winner, even if they fail to make the cut. If both players make the cut and one player is disqualified or withdraws during either the 3rd or 4th rounds, his, or her, opponent is deemed the winner. When the other player in the match bet has already missed the cut, the disqualified / withdrawn player making the cut is deemed the winner.

Group Betting The winner will be the player with the lowest score over the full length of the tournament. Any player missing the cut will be considered a loser. If all players miss the cut, the lowest score after two rounds will determine settlement. Players are grouped together for betting purposes only. Non-runner - no bet, deductions in line with Tattersalls' Rule 4(c) will apply. Dead heat rules apply except where the winner is determined by a play-off.

Round Betting The winner will be the player with the lowest score over the specified round based on the pairings or groups. In the event of a pairing/group being rearranged, or the pairings/groups not playing together, bets will be settled on the original pairing/group. Non-runner - pairing or group void. In two ball betting a price will be offered for the tie. Dead heat rules will apply to three ball betting.

International Team Competitions In all international team competitions, usually played under Matchplay formats, the official competition results will determine settlement. Customers should be aware that it has been commonplace for matches not to run their full course once the winner of the trophy has been decided.

Matchplay Matches Bets will be settled on the player progressing to the next round i.e. Extra holes count, if required. In International Team competitions, i.e. Ryder Cup, a price for the tie will be quoted.

General Rules In tournaments affected by adverse weather, bets will be settled on the official result regardless of the number of rounds played, unless there is not a completed round after a bet has been struck in which case it will be void. In the event of a player withdrawing after having teed off, stakes will be lost.
