These are simply two straight bets joined together into If Bets that work in both directions of the if clause, the risk is the same for all the wagers in the reverse, they are used for all the major sports except circled games, and no buying points is allowed.
The remaining bets in the sequence will be placed if the preceding bet is a win, a "push," or is cancelled for any reason. An "if bet" (double action) follows the sequence "if X wins, ties or cancels then Y." Placing a reverse bet will include that sequence and its opposite: "if X wins, ties or cancels then Y" AND "if Y wins, ties or cancels then X." As you can see, reverse bets contain two "if bet" sequences, and you must lay down an equal amount for each one: an if bet for $60 is $120 as a reverse bet.
The advantage of playing reverse bets is that you are still able to limit your exposure to losses while expanding the possible combinations that will produce winning wagers.
The rules of IF bets apply
The amount chosen for the Reverse is the same amount for each IF bet in the Reverse
The maximum risk of the Reverse is calculated by multiplying the highest risk between the straight bet times two.
The maximum win is calculated by adding all wins of the straight bets on the IF bets.
2-10 teams may be including in a Reverse. In the case of more than two teams chosen the reverse is all possible combinations of two team if bets and their reverse with all the selections.
Each bet included in the Reverse is bet under the condition IF Win Only. Ties and cancellations will void all subsequent bets
No Open bets are allowed in a reverse
A 2 team reverse is really 2 IF Bets. If you bet on Dallas and Miami the wager would work as follows:
REVERSE BET
---
If Dallas Wins then Miami
If Miami Wins then Dallas
Possible Outcomes:
1) Both teams win: you would have bet a total of $220 ($110 on each IF wager) and won $400 for a total of $620 payout.
2) Dallas wins and Miami loses: In this case, the first IF bet (Dallas if win then Miami) you win the first straight bet and lose the second one. For a total loss of $10 ($220 bet and only $210 won). On the second IF (Miami if win then Dallas) you lose the first straight, having no action on the second one. For the second IF there is a loss of $110 ($110 bet, nothing won). This gives a net loss of $120 for this situation.
3) Miami wins and Dallas loses: This follows the same result as the last example.
4) Both teams lose: In this case you would loses the first part of both IF wagers and loses a total of $220.
